Orion Isaacs is a graduate of The Royal Court Theatre's Writers Programme.  They are the recipient of The Robert Rockwell Prize for Dramatic Writing and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama's Embassy Scholarship.

Orion has worked as a literary associate for New York Theatre Workshop, where they were part of the development process of critically acclaimed productions, including, 'Red Speedo' by Lucas Hnath, 'Fondly, Collete Richland' by Sibyl Kempson, 'Hadestown' by Anais Mitchell, and 'Lazarus' by David Bowie.  

 

Orion received a B.A. in written arts from Bard College in New York.  They received an M.F.A. in playwriting from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.  They have taught at City University and are now a visiting lecturer at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.  They work one-on-one in script development and dramaturgy with emerging and established playwrights. 

 

Orion has seen their work performed at Battersea Arts Centre, The Roundhouse, and New York Theatre Workshop.
