Orion Isaacs is a graduate of The Royal Court Theatre's Writers Programme. They are the recipient of The Robert Rockwell Prize for Dramatic Writing and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama's Embassy Scholarship.
Orion has worked as Literary Associate for New York Theatre Workshop, where they were part of the development process of critically acclaimed productions, including, 'Red Speedo' by Lucas Hnath, 'Fondly, Collete Richland' by Sibyl Kempson, 'Hadestown' by Anais Mitchell, and 'Lazarus' by David Bowie and Enda Walsh.
Orion received a BA in Written Arts from Bard College in New York and an MA/MFA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. They have taught playwriting at City University and are currently a lecturer in Dramatic Writing and Performance at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. They work one-on-one as in script development, consultancy, and dramaturgy with emerging and established playwrights.
Orion has seen their work performed at Battersea Arts Centre, The Roundhouse, New York Theatre Workshop, and WOW Festival London.
